Our Urban Forest Initiative works with city councils and local communities to identify sites for tree planting, selecting native species that thrive in local conditions. We have planted over 3,000 trees to date and monitor their growth through volunteer tree wardens.
We organise monthly river cleanup events, engage with industries about safe waste disposal, and educate school children on the importance of healthy waterways. Our efforts have removed over 20 tonnes of waste from local rivers.
We partner with rural schools to install solar panels, reducing their electricity bills and providing a live learning lab for students to understand renewable energy. Schools benefit from reliable power for computers and lights even during grid outages.
Working with resident welfare associations, we run waste segregation workshops, connect families with composting solutions, and help businesses transition to sustainable packaging. Our pilot neighborhoods have cut landfill contributions by 40%.
